In the 2005-2006 school year the State of West Virginia awarded over 37 million dollars in PROMISE scholarships to 9,693 remarkable students seeking to attend in-state Universities and Colleges.

Bridgemont Community & Technical College awards one-year certificates and two-year associate degrees in many fields including engineering technology, business and health management, dental hygiene as well as many others.  Classes are offered both online and in the classroom.  Two-day and four-day scheduling are available. Also, through its Workforce Development Office, Bridgemont offers credit and non-credit customized training instruction in technology, health, and business both on campus and at company sites in time frames established by the companies served.
